Please DO NOT enter a lease to live here! Save yourself the time, money and pain - if I could go back and stop myself from ever being involved with The Verge I happily would. If you ever even /think/ about ending your lease early, you'll instantly be met with rude behaviour as well as shaky legalities which cannot be proven when asked. An endless maze would be easier to get out of than a lease with The Verge. Do not even get me started on Maria!! Possibly the least qualified person to be a community manager in existence, she will go out of her way to be extremely condescending and belittling to you, making you feel as though any issues you may need help with aren't her problem. She's clearly got better things to deal with as she will take days to respond, and when she does it's nothing helpful! AVOID.

Go ANYWHERE else. The community manager, Maria, is the worst person to walk this earth. She brings shame upon the title when she has no qualities to even remotely qualify for the manager position. She has no idea what she's doing and takes DAYS to respond to you. A rock could do a better job than her. Even after taking days, almost weeks, to respond, she is incredibly rude and will find any way to make you feel stupid and blame you for any questions/concerns you may have. If you are looking for a good place to stay, this is not the place. STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Maria is probably the most incompetent person I've had the displeasure of knowing. She is incredibly rude and condescending, she has no idea what she's doing, and it is so odd to me that she still has a job after everything she has done. Please stay away.

AVOID!! I cannot say it enough! Parents, DO NOT CO-SIGN!! Do not be fooled by the positive reviews, they are absolutely fake. We were helping my daughter out and co-signed in April after immense pressure from the Verge Management. My daughters move in date was August 19. My wife got a new job in April and my daughter decided Grand Forks was not for her and wanted to live near us in Fargo ND. There is ABSOLUTELY no way out of the lease. We gave at least a 90 day notice that we werent going to move in and were told that the only way to avoid paying rent was to become property managers ourselves and find someone to relet to. I tried to hire a lawyer and he wouldnt take my money because he said there was no way out of the lease. They wont help you at all with the relet process. They say they will but believe me, they wont. Maria, the manager is completely incompetent and lied to me multiple times. We never lived there and owe them thousands of dollars for absolutely nothing. They will not help you with anything. I was told by an acquaintance to stay away, didnt listen and have paid the price severely! BEWARE!

Go anywhere else. Youll pay random convenience fees when paying rent and dont bother filling out repair reports because maintenance wont get back to you. During the winter nothing gets plowed or shoveled. Parking is horrible because of it and the sidewalks stay covered with ice. Trash would get piled up around the compactor and wouldnt get touched. Move out is a nightmare to say the least lol, they wont take keys early no matter what, so I hope you live close! No matter what you put on your damage list theyll just make things up. The place was gross when we moved in, which clearly means it wasnt cleaned but they charge you for not cleaning when you move out? Ran by people who dont care and it shows. (FYI All these good reviews truly mean nothing, when you move in they tell you to leave a good review and if you show them they give you a hoodie or sweater)
