Burgundy Court Apartments

I am a current resident and will not be renewing my lease. Since Prime has taken ownership from Burgundy Court, this place has been terrible! The maintenance and property management is non existent. The pool was open this summer without a working pump. The rent has gone up and the management has gone down. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Update!! Weve now been here almost 2 years. Boy has it gone downhill since the new owners took over in May. You can NEVER get anyone to answer the phone or return phone calls. Tenants leave trash wherever they please. The new issues of the week is ROACHES. Yup, never had an issue until this week. Have now seen 2. I cannot wait to move soon. I love our neighbors next to us but besides that this place is complete trash now. Dont waste your money! Oh and not to mention the parents that dont supervise their kids that run around at all hours. They are also stealing packages. That started about 3 months ago. Well, first impression has not been great since getting keys on Thursday. From the beginning we were told the wrong move in date. Im glad I called to verify everything. Mistakes happen. Its okay. The day we get the keys, we were told 330-4. It was 530 by the time we got the keys. We go in and the air conditioner was not working. We told them they said they would move it the the beginning of the maintenance request since were a move in. Well, still has yet to be fixed. It got 85+ over the weekend. We had to breakdown and by a window ac unit because it was so hot and we have a dog. The apartment was NOT clean when we got the keys. Cabinets covered in a film of dirt in the bathrooms and kitchen. Kitchen counter tops film of dirt along with kitchen floors being sticky. Master bedroom has red stain on carpet but yet the spare bedroom was replaced (part of the reason we were late getting keys).They keep the grounds of the apartment clean and nice but I wish they had that same care for the inside of the apartments. I hope our experience improves but as of right now its not great Edit: I spoke with the manager today after work with some of my concerns. The manager just received this property about a week ago. She is very nice and it trying very hard to work on improving things. She is very understanding and easy to get along with. Regarding the AC it was fixed today and the apartment complex has almost 35 units that are having issues that they are trying to get to as soon as possible. Speaking to the manager today really helped the situation. She is extremely nice and I hope she sticks around!

I have been back and forth to the office complaining about the people that stay over me making noise as if no one lives under them. Sending them an email is not helping, it just keeps getting worse. I need to get sleep for work, but instead I'm up listening to noise lasting past 2 in the morning.

I dont recommend moving here at all. So much has happened to me while being a tenant here for almost 3 years I could write a book. But I honestly dont have the time. I will say the last straw for me was the infestation of roaches. They continued to lie and say the exterminator was coming out to treat the whole building and was in fact not. Please, I repeat please dont move here, dont waste your money. They have a really bad roach problem. And the kids are constantly kicking and knocking on your door distributing the peace of residence. 0 out of 5 stars for me.
