I can’t believe how much Joining Plexus LGBT & Allied Chamber of Commerce helped me grow my business. Within the first week of completing our directory listing we saw an increase calls from clients who found us on google!
Just being listed on the on the Plexus directory page makes you more visible to your clients by piggy backing on the SEO (search engine optimization) efforts of the chamber. If the SEO itself isn’t worth the membership investment, it didn’t stop there.
Our business is a micro wedding service and since joining plexus we have made met and married wonderful people who we now consider friends, made connections with other members like Bigmouth Doughnuts and Urban orchid who have been added to some of our wedding packages and vendor list. Through Plexus partner events with other chambers like CCA we have also found options for equipment rental and day of wedding decorating services for our clients which we had identified as a gap in our prior model. Plexus is an amazing chamber that connects people throughout the LGBT Community on a business networking level. As a local business & ally member of this chamber I am continually impressed by the opportunities and the activism this group promotes and shares.The lunches, evening events and education series' all include referral networking opportunities in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
