For four years I had not been able to find the correct diagnosis and after having visited many many many doctors had all but given up. My head and neck surgeon referred me to Dr. Kim. My referring surgeon said, let's send you to Dr. Kim, he is the best at diagnosing conditions that stump everyone else. He was right!!! Dr. Kim diagnosed the issue, referred me to the appropriate team for treatment and checked in with me every step of the way. He has by far been the most attentive, caring doctor in my journey to find the root cause of the problem. He changed my life exponentially and I feel like any time I have a concern he will be there to listen and continue partnering in my wellness.

Best doctor Ive ever seen- he listens, cares, asks tons of questions, explains everything and you can just tell he is a good person. Would highly recommend.

I rarely take time to write reviews, but thought it might be important to someone for me to share my experience. After a severe infection damaged 4 cranial nerves, I was at the mercy of Dr. Kim who would play an integral role in me regaining my voice, my ability to swallow, intervention for the incredibly burdensome cough that developed and the facial paralysis that would make recovery for each more difficult. Dr. Brandon Kim is a light in what has been a very dark season. He did a thorough examination before suggesting a treatment plan. He was incredibly helpful in teaching us how the nerve damage was affecting my voice, swallowing, etc. He gave me options that ranged from lifestyle changes to procedures that might have sped up the recovery process. Because I incline toward allowing the body to heal on its own, I opted to incorporate every suggestion he had that was non-surgical and he supported and honored every choice I made. At my first appointment, I had almost no voice and when I would push to get a little volume, Id cough incessantly. Dr. Kim is kind, a great listener, great at sorting through multiple layers of challenges and identifying an effective treatment plan. I have regained my voice, coughing is significantly improved and I have techniques that Ive learned to continue to improve. No medication, no surgeries and we made dramatic strides! Additionally, his staff is superb and I was never rescheduled or delayed through even the worst of the COVID season. Weve used virtual appointments when needed and I felt like we didnt miss a beat through the worst of the pandemic. Dr. Brandon Kim is certainly one of OSUs finest!

Dr. Kim always listens to me. The acid restriction diet did help some but not 100%. He was not satisfied and made great recommendations to get me there. He also concurrently ordered tests and made a few referrals to ensure I received a 360 viewpoint of what might be going on.
