Very unhappy about my follow up appointment, the staff that performed my ultrasound bedside manor was unacceptable, very rude and unprofessional. My husband and I were not happy, also the staff had an attitude and very sarcastic the entire time. I was overly charged 1,879.00 for multiple services that were never performed, I really hope that these concerns be addressed asap..

I absolutely hope that today was my last appointment needed at this location. Today was my 3rd visit here and my first visit and today's visit I couldn't stand. My first visit was to see Melissa March (doctor) and I couldn't stand her. I have autoimmune conditions, which have been proven by previous doctors, yet she kept acting like I didn't actually have anything. I even asked if my fingers feeling numb was POSSIBLY caused by one of my conditions. SHE DIDN'T EVEN ASK HOW LONG THE NUMBNESS WAS GOING ON FOR. All she said was it was probably due to my pregnancy. Excuse me, but last I checked, I haven't been pregnant for over 2 years!! Which is how long the numbness had been going on for, and that was back on December 23rd I told her that. Then today, I got to my appointment a little early. But according to my phone and watch, was waiting about a half hour. I got there about 10 minutes early. So technically I was waiting 20 minutes. Which wasn't terrible, but I have been in pain majority of today. And I had been in pain over half my pregnancy on and off when I walk or lay a certain way. So I was in pain sitting there waiting for them to call me back. Then I was laying in pain during my ultrasound. Again, this had been going on over half my pregnancy because of the way the baby has been sitting on a nerve. So it hurts a lot to walk or sit/lay certain ways. I wasn't even snotty. I just asked the ultrasound tech if they were busy today. I didn't even say how long I was waiting or anything. I just asked a question. Then she said yes, but then asked how long I was waiting for. I just told her a half hour but technically 20 minutes because I got there a little early. Then she acted annoyed saying well your appointment was at (insert time). Which I know. But I still waited 20 minutes past that. Then of course I'm laying there in pain while she's doing the ultrasound. Then at some point she asked if I'm okay, and I just said yeah, just my hip hurting. And she kept saying multiple times about the end being the worst. I just wanted to tell her to shut up and that I've been in this kind of pain for over half the pregnancy. Since she was acting like I wasn't acting all happy and excited during the ultrasound. Then she was asking if I was having non stress tests done. And I said yes and said I've had them now the past 3 weeks. But I need to schedule the next one because they wouldn't let me do it this morning. And she was acting like I should have already had it scheduled. First off. She doesn't know how hectic my schedule is!! And they wouldn't let me schedule the next one whole I was there this morning. Also, I already have my C Section scheduled for in 2 weeks. So all I need is one more test. I'll also add that the lady at the front desk sounded like an idiot saying "This is your first time here, correct?" And I of course was confused and said "No? This is my 3rd time." And she looked at me funny and said "For this pregnancy?" And I said "Yes?" Again, now wondering to myself "Seriously? You people are who is checking on my pregnancy???" Anyway, point is, I hate this location. And hope I don't have to go back. Also, when I had my anatomy ultrasound back in January, they weren't even going to let MY HUSBAND come with me to find out the gender!! MY HUSBAND!! THE FATHER OF MY CHILD. So, I just told them I was being seen by a private practice doctor who was going to let me bring him. And that Melissa March didn't seem to like that and acted like I HAD to be seen at UH location for the sake of the baby. Sorry!! But if it really was THAT important for me to go to HER (Melissa March) location, then they would have let my HUSBAND come with me for the ultrasound. Also, they need to say BEFORE you schedule your appointment that you can't bring anyone with you. Not wait until you say OKAY to a day and time. Then saying you can't even being your own toddler with you. SOME OF US MOMS NEED TO Make sure we schedule our appointments a day when someone can take their kid(s).

If you have an appointment time, always expect 30+ minutes before you actually go back. You will never see a doctor, just the ultra-sound tech. Even if it is suppose to be your anatomy ultrasound or a diagnostic ultrasound.
