The website was not available from the link given in their adds.. Not a lot of information on the site when found. On a Google search of the ranch there were articles about charges filed and other negative articles.

The owner is the greatest, very nice, very nice place. We been going since their 1st year open amd not one bad thing to say. Guides could use some knowledge as far as basic skills.

I enjoyed the couple of nights my son and I stayed at the Triple S Wildlife Ranch in Calvin, OK all the way up until the last few minutes. We stayed there before 4 years or so ago and enjoyed it so came back. This time due to COVID we couldn’t stay in the lodge so were directed to a “cabinâ€. The “cabin†($35 per person/per day) was more like a metal shack; however, it was clean and had a kitchenette. The bathroom/shower was a modern shared “outhouse†between our cabin and another. We were the only guests over the weekend so, it was private and quiet. The cabins are located near a pond where the ranch hands and their families reside. We were told it can get rowdy and loud, but it wasn’t. We saw few animals on the ranch the whole trip until dusk with them coming out into the open after hiding from the heat. Seeing us walking/hiking on the first day there the owner offered a 2-seater Kubota which he said was free of charge. Any civilization was about 25 minutes away in Holdenville, OK. We could come and go as we wished from the ranch using the code for the electric gate at the entrance. For most of the visit we drove on their multitude of trails on rental ATVs ($150 per person/per day). The last day I brought cash to check out which they prefer. My bill was more than DOUBLE than I expected with an additional $550 added on. Nothing on the website stated there would be a $100 per person/per day “Safari Fee†which added up to $400 and the free Kubota turned out to be $150. Embarrassed I didn’t have the cash and thinking “I†must have missed something about the Safari Fee on the website I asked about the Safari Fee and was told it was there to all as part of the enjoyment of the ranch. I paid some of the bill with cash and the other with a card. When I got home I scoured the website for the Safari Fee and nothing was there. I sent a nice email asking for an explanation; no return. I’m just old fashion thinking a $135 night in a cabin should be billed as $135 a night and not $35 a night with a surprise at the end. I won’t be back which is a shame since we enjoyed it.
