      image Came in to get help with some neighbors who've been harassing, stalking us, and vandalizing our home for months. This law firm helped me at the protective order hearing. This was a very stressful situation for me, so paying for an attorney who would speak on my behalf was worth the money I paid.
      First impression, knowledgeable, laid back, and anticipates the judge's stance on the issue, which is a plus to be able to see both sides of the coin.
      The cons, does not return calls or emails, the receptionist does not pass messages, is very siaorganized, and the time I spent there got the impression that she didn't know what she was supposed to be doing. Overall very unorganized, which put a huge load of stress on me the day of the hearing when we found out an hour before the hearing that the attorney hadn't organized all the video evidence and actually had not even opened the email I had told him I would send with a much shorter organized list to make his job easier to help my case have a successful outcome.
      This resulted in my children being left out of the protection from people who still are stalking and harassing us to this day, even with a PO in place. I ended up paying more money on top of the retainer.
      I reached out multiple times in the past 4 months for additional assistance since they already have the paperwork and information on my case, and did not hear back, but realize now that it would probably be a mistake.

      Melissa, there is no way my preparation for your case was insufficient. or made a negative difference. You/we presented ALL of your evidence, and had it well organized by the time of the hearing. There was a lot of evidence -- almost an overwhelming amount. The hearing went very well and was presented very well. I was delighted that you won, as I was unsure your case warranted a protective order. I was also professional and nice in my dealings with you. I had several calls and meetings with you. There could have been days when you did not get called back or when an email response was delayed. My ability to respond the same day is often compromised by being in court or other circumstances. However, I made sure to work evening hours to make sure your extensive evidence (video clips mostly) was ready to use and that I was ready to argue the case. Honestly, you were obviously very, very happy, at the conclusion of the case. Two things happened after that point. First, you received a bill for remaining legal fees owed. Second, you called for me again, maybe for some other thing you wanted me to do, and I waited a while to call you back until you had called a few times, and when I did, I had to leave you a message. We realize people expect their attorneys to be responsive and, overall, we usually do a very good job of that. We apologize if you felt something other than complete satisfaction. I did do the best I could throughout the case and you did win the case. You said your kids were not awarded a protective order and suggested it was because I had not been prepared. This is obviously false. If your kids did not receive a protective order, it is because no conduct was directed at them. I had not even recalled your kids being petitioners. Clearly, you had no complaints to this effect when the judge ruled completely in your favor. You are always welcome to call me to discuss any further matters. -- Jeff Price
