The first time I was with Hour Glass Transport I was with them for 5 years of normal operations of supporting Sundowner horse trailer Mfg. The new guys always get the Canada's and loads with very little or no chance of a reload, I ran 50% dead head. There are the guys that have been Billy Whites favorites. The reason I left the first time was because of a break down I was not financially prepared for. The second time I returned is when things changed. This company does not have a terminal in Indiana anymore. Before so left we started to get loads from a transport company that had some over flow loads and the loads from the factorys started to die. We would go threw a lot of office girls for one reason or another. So my last straw was to agree to operate a float truck provided from Billy White. I was out in Phoenix on my 3rd load with this truck and had room on the trailer for a 4th car or truck. They refused to book a 86 Chevy blazer claiming it was to large for the space available. This was not so and confermed by spec on the internet. So any way if I can't maximize the profit I told them I could not do the float loads. Billy White told me to park the truck at the factory and AlI went back to my 1ton. He was taking a percentage for purchase of truck and refused to give me the money back $1400.00. So I took that one and moved on. The next thing was a month or so later. The set of double I was pulling had a problem with the brakes on the front trailer rear axel. It would intermittently apply the brakes. It was the weekend and I was on my way to Calgary Alberta. At the same time I had no lights. So I made it to Limon Colorado and turned back. When I made it back to the factory Billy White and a factory guy met me in the load put yard and the factory guy inspected the trailer and said its a axel manufacturing defect and with get it replaced buy the axel manufacture. This is when I was told I would get played for taking it or bringing it back to Coleman to the factory because it was not authorized. A total of around 1200 miles he wanted me to eat??? If your thinking of doing business with Billy White the owner or Hour Glass Transport please take my total of 8 years of working with this company. If your fortunate to get under Billy Whites wing you may have a better dead head ratio then we did. There are other company's out there. Good luck with your choice I will never go back.

Contacted billy for a quote on 3 shipments around the country. he gave ma a quote. I provided it to my customer who accepted the bid. when I called back two weeks later to schedule he did not remember the quote. I sent it to him. then he said he has a contract and just blew me off. Don't ever count on this company for your shipping needs. They will let you down.
