Have to tell a story about the customer service I received today from Nicole’s. After browsing the wonderful array of goodies, I made my purchase. After receiving the free gift bagging, I neglected to pick up one of my purchases. The owner left her shop unattended with a houseful and tracked me down at another store to return my purchase. Just saying, how is that for incredible service?!

We love to visit Eufaula during our RV trips, and decided to stop in Nicole's as my Daughter and I spied what looked to be bath and body items through the window. Having just left another shop down the street, which we purchased several Christmas gifts in, we knew our Christmas shopping was going to continue in Nicole's as we had numerous Family, Friends and Neighbors left to buy for. This is where the review gets to the point of the dreaded one star. As I opened the door with my Daughter directly beside me, we were quickly approached by a man, holding a container of sanitizer pointed directly at us. With a bellowing voice, he demandingly told us we had to be sanitized, as he continued to approach. We told him we did not want to be 'sanitized', as we had no idea what he had in his hand. He told us we either get sanitized or we could leave. So be it! We happily left and told him how foolish he was expecting everyone would simply accept being doused with sanitizer. I am sure he was as happy to see us depart as we were happy to exit the shop. While many people have 'complied' with illegal mandates and orders, it is extremely unprofessional and cowardly for any shop owner to automatically expect patrons to agree to unknown sanitization, as well as extremely risky due to unknown and unexpected allergens. Logical and critical thinking can do wonders if applied - unfortunately that process was nowhere to be found with this particular gentleman. Not only have myself and husband worked in healthcare for a combined 60+ years, my entire Family have inside information that masks and sanitizers are not necessary and actually do more harm than good. We are not your typical patrons, but very well informed and well-read individuals. IF the gentleman would have backed off and allowed an atmosphere in which to explain our background and history, things would have gone much differently. I am 100% confident of that statement. His bulldog personality and unwillingness to anticipate outlier customers with extensive backgrounds did this shop an injustice and perhaps a little knowledge that may have helped them with the current situation.
