Shawnda Jones who is the owner of Mommy Maids is a TERRIBLE employer who does not pay her employees. And her office manager Brandie Richards isn't much better. She uses her medical problems to her advantage, says she's never been told the problem, is unaware of whats going on, etc. She's very good at coming up with excuses! She even gave me the number to James Jones who supposedly takes care of payroll and I was told he turned my time into payroll and that a check was mailed and he's now not returning my calls. It's just one excuse after another. To all clients, future clients and employees..........STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLEANING SERVICE!!! IT'S AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been using mommie maids for a couple of years now. We are extremely satisfied with their work. They come to our place bi-weekly and do an excellent job each time.

Horrible, horrible, service. Mrs. Shawnda Jones is very rude & unprofessional with the business. Horrible communication. Very bad service. I would not recommended this cleaning service to anyone. Waste of your time and defiantly waste of your money!

*UPDATE* - I called Living Social so I could have the money refunded. They contacted the owner who said she had a medical emergency the day they were suppose to show up. I'm sympathetic to that and can understand when emergencies arise. At that point I wouldn't have asked for my money back if that had been the only problem though - not being able to reach the company for two months prior didn't set a good precedent. That said I do hope the owner is ok. I bought a living social deal as a present for my friend. I thought it would be a great way to de-stress her life as she works full time, goes to grad school and has a family. Sadly it has been nothing but stressful. She called the company multiple times and they never called back. I called a few times and was able to reach someone who apologized for not calling my friend back (her voicemail wasn't working, which is understandable, this kind of stuff happens). She called my friend and made an appointment for a Saturday. That Saturday rolls around and they are a no-show. They finally show up 3 hours late and apparently they had to change the time and no one reached out to my friend. Since she had already started cleaning her house she said she would call back and reschedule an appointment. That was almost a week ago - she's called everyday with no answer or call back. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of communication.
