We built trusses for a job in Ada for this company back in May 2017. The check for the last half of the job bounced and took 2 months to finally get the check to clear. The communication dropped out as well and couldn't talk or email with them. This morning I just visited with Kyle Sheppard which was who I worked with on the project and he said that the company has been dissolved and is now closed. Please be careful if you are still working with this company.

If I had a choice I would not give any stars. We picked a Shepard and Son’s home in Yukon (316 old Home place). It was not finished and we were told we could pick counter tops, light fixtures, water fixtures and appliances. We gave them $1000 earnest money and went all over OKC to places they told us to go to in order to finish the home. We were told the Home would be done in less than a month (we were selling our home so we didn’t want to stay at a hotel or anything in between we wanted a smooth transition). They rarely answered the phone and when they did it was lies on top of lies. Weeks went by and the home was left untouched. They had me pay to install a security system. I did not want to do this because I was losing hope they were actually going to finish the home. I was told by Cody Shepard that It would be installed either way and I wouldn’t get to pick where anything went so I went ahead and paid for it. I was paying monthly bills for a security system on a home with no progress. When I told them I no longer wanted to move forward (after 3 attempts at incorrect contracts, choosing my options all over OKC twice because they were lost the first time, cancelled meetings with them, absolutely no progress on the home) I was cursed out and threatened by Cody and his wife for dropping my contract. I asked for my earnest money and they said no, I explained that we never actually had a contract and they laughed. They are crooks. Later I learned the have multiple Leins against the property they were trying to sell me and other cases from similar issues. The house is in my neighborhood, it would have been beautiful but it’s simply an eye sore. There are overgrown weeds and dead plants. They have a website with pictures of nice homes, but, notice that there are very few pictures (probably because they rarely finish what they start). I’ll just end it there. Feel free to email me and I will gladly share texts and emails! I have pictures that are time stamped for days I was told stuff was being installed. Again the home is still sitting unfinished and it was built in 2016! This is a huge red flag- if you don’t believe me drive by it (316 old Home place in yukon)

I know Sheppard and Sons very well and have had the pleasure do business multiple times with them. I was fortunate enough to own one of the homes they had built for themselves. They always stand behind there word, and produce a quality project that is beyond unique and extraordinary to any other homes I have seen. I hate to see the negative reviews about this company. They are great men and do a great job. I would recommend that if you are looking for a very humble and down to earth builder use the Sheppard's. I am sure the negative posts relate to one of the customers that have taken advantage of their kindness which saddens me. Thank SASC!!

I feel sorry for everyone who has used these builders!!!! Prayers are with all of you all for what you've been through. This man and his two sons are all talk no action. You'll end up spending way more than what they said. They'll never come back and do repairs!! It was embarrassing to have friends/family come over to see how many of the areas in the house are UNFINISHED and UNTOUCHED after spending so much MONEY!!!!I don't know how they are staying in business and getting away with cheating people like this. People need to contact COHBA and report any problems. There's so much I could say but after reading all these reviews, it pretty much summed it up. I just gave up on contacting them anymore. They found every excuse in the book not to come do the repairs. These pics I seen on these reviews is exactly what we had endured. Once again I pray for each one of you and we all had a learning experience in life.

Great experience. Would have like a few improvements on communication here and there, but they are very professional and curious. They do amazing work and well worth your time to at least have a conversation. Even when we had some issues with budget it was an easy conversation and they found a way to keep me exactly where I needed to buy. Would highly recommend to anyone. At the very least give them a call and set up a meeting.
