Good luck getting anyone to answer a phone call, and even better luck when your loved one pushes the button for help. My father needs assistance taking his medicine and the nurse told him she didn't have time for him and to take it himself. Just because it looks nice and smells nice, doesn't mean it is nice. Do you research. Trust what others are saying.

This place changes staff so often it's ridiculous. Good luck with decent care on the weekends and after hours. There's 3 nurses who always stand in the hallways cussing at each other, you can have your call light on and they never come. It's seriously just a playground for the nurses. They're rude, never want to help, always busy with each other. Save your loved ones and NOT put them here.
Also, the new "front receptionist" is no help. She doesn't help with the door, doesn't greet you, and to busy on her personal phone. The phones ring non stop.

One of the worst experiences of my grandfather and Is life. He was discharged from the hospital after 3 weeks and transferred to Medical Park West with the notion that they would help rehabilitate him physically to get back to a day to day routine. Wow, couldnt have been worse, not only did they withhold his medication (sometimes for days) only to send him home with all of the withheld medication weeks later some opened and re-taped the nursing staff would consistently ignore him along with almost every other resident and patient in the building. When a nurse would arrive they would always have an excuse that they just got to work or there was no call light on their screen notifying them that they were needed (also not true) after walking to the head nurses office only to find out the call light had been on for over two hours. Nurses had extremely poor attitudes and would ignore residents in the hall simply asking for oxygen or a glass of water. If anyone has a relative in this facility please save them.

I was a resident from January 6 thru March 1 2024. As many places are understaffed, so is this facility. It is easy to write negative comments but not appreciate the hardwork and acknowledge the staff. The administrator Antoine was continuously checking the residents. The nursing staff was considerate and professional. At times on the weekends due to staffing you would get different staff members. Overall I was impressed and wanted to thank the staff for their care while I was there. Thank you to Edward, Terri, Deborah. Monica, Jessica, Kelli, Cynthia, and Tye. I was there for wound care and wanted to thank Bailey wound care nurse and Dr. Murphy for their care during my recovery. I am pretty sure I have. Missed some staff but thank you to the kitchen and housekeeping. I could return to this facility if I needed nursing care.

My Grandfather was here for nearly four months and we wish we would have gotten him out sooner. The aides and nursing staff constantly curse, congregate in the nursing station on their cell phones and hide in other rooms to pretend they are busy. The phone at the nurses station constantly rings and you never can get a hold of anyone here. Instead of doing their job they would bully my eight year old daughter for any little thing (when I would be counting on her to help me get his menu and fill it out for the next day for me while I fed my grandfather). They do not feed those who can not feed themselves and if they do get fed it is hours after the food has arrived to their room and it is cold and bacteria ridden from sitting at room temperature for hours. My grandad lost over 25 pounds in his short time here. New orders would be put through and the staff wouldnt go by them. There is absolutely NO chain of communication between staff. They have such high turnover that the administrator doesnt hold anyone accountable in fear of them quitting. They lack enough nurses and aides to do the jobs they are assigned to do especially on the weekends and holidays. The food is horrendous the only good thing are the cookies Linda makes in the kitchen. My grandad would go 12 hours regularly without a diaper change. That is inexcusable! Inhumane! Deplorable! There would always be freshly smeared feces on the one chair in my grandfathers room because the staff would sling his dirty diapers where ever without cleaning up after. We had to install a camera because the neglect would continue constantly after speaking to the administrator and head nurse. Nothing ever changed, sadly. We now have proof of the neglect on camera and saved these documented timestamped incidents and will be working with the state to ensure this is not something that goes unnoticed and overlooked. I would advise anyone to look elsewhere this place shouldnt be operating.
