Matt on Google

image I called James and discussed my situation upfront. It started out good and he was "ok" at answering questions, as this was the first time I ever had to deal with a public adjuster. So clearly I would have questions. After I sent some info over to him before signing a contract. I get an email with the contract to be signed. With no conversation about what he thought about the case. He didn't call or communicate to me about his finding on the info i sent him. However I called and had some questions about the contract and his opinion of the info he presently had. To know whether this was a good fit for either of us. We had a conversation after me calling him after several tries. About the contract, which was cut short as he said he was on a roof and had to get down. Anyhow I went ahead and signed the contract and figured I'll give him a chance. On Aug 4th I get an email from James, with a hail report and a note that he will be out the following week. Which I took as the 10th-14th which was the following week. I never heard anything. So I tried following up with him with a few phone calls, a text, and few emails over a week or longer span roughly. Then out of nowhere i get an email on Aug 19th with a letter of contract release. One of the reasons given was this " It appears that you are in a rush to get this claim completed. ". I wanted to get this addressed no question about it, but a rush? I tried to call and communicate with James, is that rushing? And he ignored me most the time especially after signing the contract, I never received a call back period the whole time . Now after poor customer service and showing me a lack of professionalism. I am delayed another 3-4 weeks into trying to get this issue resolved. It would've been more appropriate and professional to call and explain the reasonings for the why on the "contract release". I find that very unprofessional to ignore your customers and then email them without a phone call and a conversation the whole time after signing. I would've had more respect to be treated in this way, had James told the truth by contacting me in a appropriate manner. Than to get ignored, then get a contract release via email with no other conversations to explain why out of the blue. Keep in mind he never came out to see for himself my roof damage. Which he made a big deal out of, which is understandable to see for yourself with your own eyes. But yet he sent me a contract and wanted me to sign up with him then not show up.... Talk about confusing. I wouldn't recommend James as a public adjuster after how I was treated. He appears to be only concerned about himself and not have his customers best interest in mind.
