    Both my parents were in their memory care for 3 weeks before coming down with COVID. I was not even aware that they had tested positive for COVID until they were taken to the hospital and the hospital told me. My dad was also given medicine without my approval. I think they like to dope up their residents so all they want to do is sleep all day. Unfortunately, our experience wasnt a good one. I think there were many good employees there (reason for the 1 star), but the management is not good. They are super communicative when they are selling the place to you and then all communication stops unless they want more money.

    Where do I begin? If you care about your family member, do not leave them in Memory Care at Proveer at Quail Creek. My mother was in the Assisted Living and it seemed fine until she contracted COVID and ended up in the hospital due to dehydration. This was during the time visitors were not allowed in the building. When she recovered, they insisted she had to go into Memory Care. At first, it was very good especially the Activities Director. Then Proveer bought the facility and it went downhill from there. They renovated the Assisted Living and did nothing to the Memory Care side. First, the Nurse was replaced by a Memory Care Coordinator with no medical experience. There is now one LPN for the whole facility, mostly the Assisted Living part. Workers left or were replaced by people who didnt seem to care. There were many times I was visiting and residents were left alone eating dinner with absolutely no workers for upwards of 15 minutes. Mom was dirty often. Her room was filthy. I often cleaned it myself. Her belongings were lost and never found. Pillows, sheets, comforters, clothes, jewelry, bras, etc. were lost and never found. There is no routine to check in on the patients. I found my mother lying on her bed sweating with a coat on and her heat turned all the way up. My brother found her lying on the bed with no sheets and completely naked. If we asked what time she had her medicine, no one could tell us. Her TV never worked. Laundry was a disaster. Either stacked up in mounds in her closet or gone for days in the laundry room. In summation, my family had a very bad experience and we were sad that Proveer bought the facility.
