Went to 3d sales (one of their sales partners) to purchase a fort and ship. Everything seemed to be going smoothly and even added a bridge and free standing monkey bars. Went back to inspect the items as i made a contract for "as is" used product at a reduced price, and the medium ship is so small on the inside only a 2 to 3 year old could play inside of one, so i upgraded to a large ship b4 they brought it out to the property. Arrangements were made to bring it out on a Thursday, but recieved a call from Belinda (husband/wife owners/Kieth) that it needed to be on Friday instead. I told her it was going to rain that day, she said it would be no problem as it wasn't supposed to rain til later in the day or i could wait til next following week. I told her it was part of a birthday party setup and couldn't be postponed if something came up that following week. She assured me her workers were professional, experienced men and I'd be pleased with their work. Friday morning came and i get a call from her head guy and he says since it was raining he stayed in bed til it let up, but would be there close to the afternoon, afternoon arrives and "Ed" calls to find my location, i tell him and he turns around and proceeded onto the private diveway and as I'm watching, he runs into the electrical lines and pulls the swindbeam and cross off the front of the ship where they had placed it during delivery. The lines pulls the items back against the fort (that is upside down loaded on the trailer behind the ship) and breaks off the 2×4 support on two of the legs that causes chunks to come off the two 4" post that makes up the main support of the fort. The driver/delivery/setup worker (Edward) says it's no big deal he'll just nail the 2×4 back on the legs and it'll be fine. I told him he needed to replace the 4"post also, he said he couldn't do that as that's the main part of the fort. I told him i wouldn't take a bandage product for the original price i paid as the infrastructure was compromised now. He said i paid "as is", i told him "as is" on the lot, not "as is" during delivery. Also the swing beam had been pretty damaged (legs and beam split and busted, he was going to go make me a new one to replace that, he didn't give me a time frame). He and i both contacted Belinda, he gave his version and i told her the real story. I told her the product had been compromised and if i was going to consider keeping it with a bandaged job done for repairs on the damage, they needed to knock off additional money (i even sent pics of the damaged area), they tried to pass it off as wear n tear on a used product and i told them to take it back and leave the ship and free standing monkey bars, no bridge and no fort. Belinda decided if i didn't want it all i wasn't going to get anything. She said she was sorry she couldn't make me happy and decided to cancel the whole order. I told her i needed my FULL refund on everything then, so my little girl didn't get any setup for her party because i wasn't willing to pay full price on damaged goods. The delivery/setup man was hung over and smelled very stongly of hard liquor with blood shot eyes. He talked and acted like it was his company and he did everything, they just use their name. Very boastful, and treated you like he knows everything and your just too ignorant to understand anything. He accused Belinda of lying to him about who called to check on him that morning. He is not respectful of women. He was FAR from professional and rude. Just because you say "mam" doesn't make it respectful, especially when it's said in a certain way.
