        The best bbq I've found in oregon! Also on Saturdays they do a prime rib special, but make sure to make a reservation for prime rib as they sell out frequently. This place is truly a hidden gem... go there once and you'll be back over and over. We dive an hour just to eat away the old steam engine and it's worth it every time! If you love bbq, or it's Saturday and you love prime rib this place is a must. And the staff and locals are all sort friendly also! Two thumbs way up!

        I give The Old Steam Engine 5 stars on their food. I really enjoyed their Philly cheese steak (made with prime rib) and on our last trip most of us got the prime rib which was excellent with a huge portion of meat, large baked potato and salad. They have the best corn bread sevrved with honey butter. Service was very friendly but a little disorganized. We will be back.

        We called in advance because we had a big group of cyclists that showed up for lunch. We had tables on the patio with great service & great food. Service was quick & efficient. BBQ & soft serve ice cream was the 👍👍👍

        Such a sweet little place. Probably the best barbeque in all of Southern Oregon. It is family owned with great service and reasonable prices. Not to be missed!
