A nice cozy, hospitable place after spending a winter day outside in the gorge. When I heard this place was famous for its horseradish, I thought, whatever, but it was fun to try. It'll blow your mind.

New owners. different name same location. Service has improved....so have the hours they are open. a few things on the menu have changed......I like the beer battered fries. They are excellent as well as the home made ranch dressing....and the hot sandwiches on baguettes are awesome .....don't forget the jar of horse radish........great stuff....pizza was good and they have a few local beers on tap

Name changed to Cascade Locks Ale House. Good selection of brews (by the glass, stein, or pitcher).Seems like pizza is the focus with burgers and subs also. I had the cheese steak...quality was good, needs seasoning. Only 1 waitress. Working hard but service is impacted on a very busy summer day (no fault of hers, July 5th). Get some more help! I will be looking at other options next time around. Time in 1:30 pm, time food hit the table 2:23. Average pub fair, avoid peak times. Look for something else first. Be patient.

I love the town and the pub is very cool. i love the acoustic guitar player on the weekends, but the pizza was cold and the service left something to be desired. The waitress was not attentive at all. The East Wind Drive in is a better bet
