TAI has been incredibly helpful. I came to Jason Zhaou after a 2nd back surgery and months of various back pains. After only 2 sessions I am feeling so much better and feel as though I've been given a new lease on life. Jason seems to understand exactly what I need and he has an amazing ability to combine exercises in such a way as to not take up too much time each day to accomplish the goal.

As a young active person I assumed my knee would heal on its own after I sprained my MCL. I waited for 2 months before going in to see Jason. He had walking normally within just a couple visits and biking again! Jason is a wizard! I would recommend him to anyone, whether you think you can recover on your own or are already aware you need help.

After a total knee replacement I needed PT and saw Jason and co. here and they were all fantastic. Jason is a great listener who helped me understand more about the knee surgery than anyone at OHSU did! He also gave me realistic expectations for the course of my recovery and helped me understand various aspects of the knee's anatomy and what would be best to work on for my particular rehab goals. On top of their expertise, great intuition, and insightful approach to treatment, Jason, Hakari and company are just terrific people who make the grind of physical rehabilitation a little less daunting and occasionally even fun. Couldn't recommend these folks more highly!

I highly recommend Jason and his staff! Nobody likes being injured, and everyone has a different level of expected physical performance post PT-sessions. My goal was getting back to soccer and distance running after a knee injury. At the beginning I could hardly walk up stairs without pain, and every week Jason would push me more and more to continue the exercises and stretching routines he provided. Once I could finally do single-leg hops without pain Jason told me to open my wings and fly away from his office because I didn’t need his help anymore. I truly appreciate his willingness to explain what exercise-X does to the body and why it will help, and his honesty when I was done with PT. This weekend I circumnavigated Mt. Hood and tonight I’m playing soccer; so yeah rehab takes a while, but at least I know Jason led me down the right path to get me back and functioning at a fairly high level.

I saw Jason for 12 sessions following a total hip replacement. I have seen several physical therapists over the years for various problems including my first hip replacement 4 years ago. Jason is by far the best therapist I have worked with. He provided me with the individualized care and guidance I needed at different stages of recovery. He is intuitive, encouraging and patiently answered my questions. He and the office staff provided such a welcoming space that I looked forward to my sessions.
