We made an appointment for a family photoshoot with Alison during the busy holiday season, but had to reschedule when a family member had a medical emergency only an hour before our scheduled time. Alison worked with us and made it stress-free to reschedule to a later date. She even sent us some photos the day after they were taken so that my Mom could get her Christmas cards printed on time. The day of the photo shoot, Alison walked all around our property (up a soggy hill!) to help scout out the best spots for our pictures. She went above and beyond for us, taking both indoor and outdoor shots, accommodating one very pregnant family member and an uncooperative cat. When we got the full album of photos, they were beautifully edited, and really helped us capture the memory of this unique holiday season. I highly recommend Thistledown Photography - we had a great experience!

Ali did an excellent job taking our wedding photos last month! We had a backyard micro-wedding (because of covid) and she was great to work with from the beginning to the end. She took time to speak with us on the phone beforehand to make sure we chose a time/spot where the lighting would be perfect. As she was taking the photos she would gently adjust people (verbally) after checking out the first few shots which made for really excellent final results. I was thrilled with every one of the final photos, and they were delivered ahead of schedule! She even sent us a few prints and a beautiful thumb drive with the photos afterwards. I highly recommend working with Ali for any photography needs you have!

We had a wonderful experience working with Ali for our family photos. The planning process was simple, she was delightful and easy-going during the shoot, and we are very pleased with the final product.
