I traveled to Breitenbush with a couple out of town guests and decided to visit this resort. Admittedly I had not made a reservation I had never been there and wasn't aware. We arrived early Friday, about 10:00 am. There were about ten cars at the most...I requested we look around and soak for a couple of hours. We were turned away...and told we needed to book for a day. I was offended...yes, my fault however would have been nice to be offered an abbreviated stay for the same rate.

My husband and I just spent two nights at Breitenbush. We hadnt been there since before the fires and were a little skeptical that it wouldnt be as wonderful as we remembered it, but we were pleasantly surprised. Although the landscape was brutalized by the fires, its still a beautiful place, the yurts and cabins and bathroom facilities that they replaced the old cabins with are lovely and cozy, the food was as excellent and plentiful as before, the Hotsprings pools were as glorious as ever- especially in the snow! And the residents were all sweet and accommodating. We were so pleased that the energy of the place is basically the same! Well done Breitenbush!

Incredible place! Must have a good car and tires as there are many potholes on the way to thus remote location. The drive is beautiful and worth it though. The hotsprings were in a pristine location, we encountered deer and spent all afternoon there with the day pass. Its very relaxing and appreciated there was no cell service. Everyone was very respectful of privacy, space and noise. Simply magical!
