Wrangler Rest Motel as of 4-9-2021 is under new ownership hopefully they will keep up our standards we are going to miss all our regulars and all our new travelers hope you all will keep enjoying you stay and time in elgin. Ken & Nicki Mayhead

This no tell motel has been in Elgin for as long as I can remember pretty much looks the same as it did 30 years ago in the rooms although it has new owners recently who I met the hard way, Mister motel owner met me at the front desk with a few words sailors would blush at, lol, but then again I did say it's Elgin right it's a hole in the wall the whole town drive through it as quickly as you can LOL. My two star rating is because the amenities in my room were lacking at best almost invisible I had a bar of soap the size of a quarter are you kidding me people come on no coffee pot and my room was so cold when I got in there it was all night trying to warm up don't stay here unless the other choice is to sleep in your car keep going either Joseph or La Grande. No bueno seniors and senoritas

Love this place!! Devon and Amy are so kind and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable if your looking for a quiet little get away I definitely recommend wranglers rest

Had a nice weekend, room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and competent.
