. The area is really - -- wonderful -- to visit ,---- .. Environment here is so healthy , i'm not telling the old timers anything new . Jenny t , So Sorry you are so down and out , If you want to have a picnic , please use the day use area ,, not a reserved camping site . "nothing's going right for me today " Hope you are having a good day today.".. camp host are becoming a little short on patience these days , likely burning out dealing with the public or copeing with USFS , or other personal reasons ? They were fresh and somewhat chearlful the first year, even made me cookies from time to time , i thank them for that

While it may be tempting to stay here because its on the water, be warned. Most of the sites are right on top of one another without so much as a bush or tree between you. Our spot, 20 we were literally a fence post away from the neighbors tent and their 6 rambunctious children who awoke at 7 am screaming, every morning. Stay at the less crowded Tahkenitch campground thats less than a mile down the road. More space for and there are actual trees in sites. Site 29 was fairly private and enjoyable.

This review is simply about the campground. We couldn't originally go to the forest as fires changed our plans, this campground had openings but, it's trash. The lake is wonderful, we caught fish, we SUPd, we boated. The campground on the other hand they just stack the sites on top of each other. Zero, zero privacy. We have a vanagon so could block one side but your always on display. There are a few spots, #8 comes to mind, that would be good. If you like camping with Trump MAGAs right next door and no privacy this is the place but if your not a mouth breathing cult follower this is probably not the place for you.
