Amy McCaffrey is a very safety oriented instructor and I appreciate that she teaches students all about horse care and safe horse handling. Her emphasis on parents being hands off and student being hands on gives kids a chance to grow in their confidence not just as riders, but as equestrians out of the saddle too. Amy has a gift with working with kids and getting them to listen! As a parent I am overjoyed to see my daughter taking in advice from Amy that she blows off when it comes from MOM....Firefly Training is well worth the investment for my daughter's riding/life lessons!

Amy is a wonderful caring teacher. My daughter has been taking lessons from Amy for about three years, and learns not just how to ride but also how to properly care for a horse. Highly recommended!

Amy McCaffrey at Firefly Training is highly recommended. Her lessons are fun yet challenging, with emphasis on proper equitation, and most importantly of all, Amy teaches her students horsemanship. My daughter is in Amy's hunter/jumper lessons, and Amy was also involved every step of the way with us in the purchase of our horse. She teaches young children just starting out, or students wanting to attend hunter/jumper shows, or older people like me learning to ride in their middle age and beyond.
