Thunderhead Lodge

Had an Air Bnb here. The room was clean and the rec room was great! Very nice pool table and multiple TVs in the room. The pool is warm enough to swim in 60 degree weather. Yocom falls is nearby and a short hike.

Very old and in need of a lot of tlc. We had an airbb here. The stairs are brutal, no elevator. Beware of many nails popping up from the deck, very hazardous. Pool was warm, but that's about it.

There are 4 flights of steep stairs. The ad on Booking said nothing about the stairs or being on a top floor with no elevator. We were charged 200 dollars and accused of smoking in there. We have young children and NEVER smoked in there. Then, when we plugged our coffee pot in it sparked and flew fire out the cord. We had to boil water and pour it through the coffee maker cause there isn't anywhere close to get coffee. When we told the manager, she accused us of breaking it. My son, who is autistic, fell down the stairs and broke both of his arms. It was horrible. The worst part is that instead of apologizing about not being clear in the ad, we get extra charges for something we didn't even do. These aren't average stairs they are crazy, steep stairs. Never would have chose this place if I'd have know with small children. I even poured over the ad several times to see if I'd just missed it. NO! There was no mention of it.
