Skandia Remodeling

We decided to trust Skandia remodeling for our kitchen remodel summer of 2012. Everything turned out great. Kitchen was about 10 x 12 feet. No expansion or significant rearrangement, but we did remove a wall, and all the associated electrical, and replace it with a breakfast bar. We also updated the nearby powder room, and had them replaced the patio sliding door. We had new high-end custom cabinets, and other high-end materials. Paul took us shopping, and provided expert guidance on material options including costs. Many of the long term sales folks recognized Paul. Design guidance was extremely helpful without being pushy, and helped us refine our decisions - and pick out what we wanted. Project was done during the summer to avoid affecting the kids during the school year. Project was completed timely, and work progressed regularly. We were provided updates as needed about schedule and work being done. Project was on a tight budget. Contract was detailed. Communication was great. When a couple unexpected items (clearly outside the contract) did come up, we were given choices on how to proceed. Things always come up - but for us these were minor. Skandia completed everything on the contract and more. I am picky, I see every little detail. The craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. Skandia did contract out much of the work. Since the project was during the summer, several of the sub-contractors had to fit us in between projects at the street of dreams. All the sub-contractors were extremely professional. The attention to detail was outstanding. Paul and everyone associated with Skandia were extremely professional and easy to work with. I can't recommend Skandia highly enough.

We have a beautiful new kitchen, thanks to the folks at Skandia Remodeling. The attention to quality, and pride in workmanship; the good communication about next steps; keeping to the timeline set out at the start of our project; and the amazing design help made this as stress-free as a remodel can be. We had a pretty set budget for our remodel - Skandia helped us get the most for our money and we couldn't be happier with the results.
