There are plenty of "other reviews" not suggested here on Yelp for this page, they are reviews from people who actually attended this school and they deserve to be heard, and their reviews read. Some of them are recent and they are from adults who attended this program as children. The owner of this schools responses to these reviews in itself shows contempt and no compassion. We are grateful for Jasper Mountain, specifically for their excellent and experienced therapists Larkin and Kiva! Larkin and Kiva were wonderful to our child and treated him, and our family, with understanding and respect. They held our son accountable for his actions but were very caring and experienced with our child's emotional issues. They kept us accurately up to date with our son's progress and were genuine and honest with us regarding rough patches they faced with our son. Most importantly, Larkin and Kiva never hesitated to get as much background information as possible about our son and our family to help better understand our son's needs. We greatly appreciate all of Larkin's and Kiva's time spent with our son at Jasper mountain and wish more therapists were like Larkin and Kiva.

I worked on and off at Jasper for 6 years. If I had a child that I struggled to manage, I would send them there. A structured, safe, and consistent environment is the only way to truly help stabilize children with dysregulated emotions. I also have nothing but great things to say about the new management team!

I worked at Jasper Mountain SAFE Center for 5 years! They have a strong workplace community, value diversity, and strive to excel in teamwork and communication. Their employees are appreciated, respected, and their voices are valued. Their team works hard to support a vulnerable population: children who have suffered trauma and struggle to regulate their emotions and maintain safe behaviors. It can be emotional work, but it is fulfilling work. The JMC team endeavors to create a family-like environment that is therapeutically supportive. They are regulated by state licensing agencies and are required by law to provide a safe healing environment for their clients. All employees are subject to strict background checks and on-going training. They have a highly educated and thoroughly trained team who chooses to work in a nonprofit line of work because the work they do helps our community heal and thrive. They have two locations, one in Jasper-Lowell, OR and one in Springfield, OR (SAFE Center). They partner with Looking Glass and the Child Center to support community members in crisis via the Crisis Hotline.
