This guy showed up faster than anyone could out here in CV, by weeks. He got the job done for less than half the price. Super nice, considerate, on time and professional.

I met Jacob McIntyre while he was inspecting a home we purchased in Southern Bend. Jacob is very thorough and took a lot of time to properly inspect the property and gave us feedback every step of the way. His prices are very reasonable too. Jacob is extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions regarding the water treatment system installed on the property. He also gave helpful suggestions on how to maintain our property in the future. Jacob is a true professional and I would definitely use him again when purchasing real estate in the Bend, Oregon area.

I will agree with other reviewers this guy is thorough and courteous. That is where our agreement ends. From what I understand he is fairly new at home inspections (around 5 yrs.). I believe he is taking his job very seriously and trying his best. I will probably get lashed out for posting this but if it helps one person its worth it. During our inspection he pointed out things that were completely irrelevant or actually wrong. Examples: 1. he said there was a crack in the wall in one bedroom. That is in fact false. What he saw was the drywall joints and the paint line. 2. He said one of the smoke detectors needs to be hardwired. That is also false. There is a hardwired smoke detector that was installed when the house was built. The one he was talking about is a battery operated one that was put in that location at a later date. It is not required to be hardwired. He also recommended we get a CO2/smoke detector combo. The house is 100% electric. Why would it need a CO2 detector? 3. He put in the report small things like a ding in a door from another door handle hitting it and two small chips in the kitchen counter top (smaller than a pencil eraser). Also, according to the Oregon Construction Contractors Board inspectors are not to inspect features that are apart from the main structure.. He inspected an electrical panel adjacent to the home and and included negative comments on the report based on his inspection of the panel. That breaker he left negative comments about doesnt even go to the house. There is a difference between being thorough and doing a good job without jeopardizing the sale of a home. In the end the house did sell. We just want others to be aware of the obstacles this company may present.
