Loved the fish and chips. This place uses the light panko like batter so you taste the fish and not the grease it was deep fried in. The fries or "chips" also have a very light panko like coating making them crispy until the end. Starting with the house salad dressed in marionberry vinaigrette and the starter crab cakes, this was a tasty meal.

We went a couple of nights ago after the storm, when only a few places were open. The server was excellent: friendly, attentive, etc. The food was tasty as well. It was nice to eat local seafood while visiting from out of state.

Stopped by while staying at an Airbnb in Manzanita. Small and intimate, if not exactly cozy. My party of four had razor clams, the bay shrimp sandwich (on special), crab Louie, and the halibut. Everyone was pleased with their meal. The halibut portion seemed small for the price, and in general I was a bit surprised by the prices. We had one appetizer, only two of us had a drink, and the bill with tip was over $150. Much of the food is sourced locally, and this seems like an important part of the local food scene. I guess one conclusion is that good food that supports local farmers, growers, harvesters, chefs, and small biz owners is more expensive than chains. Which is worth paying for if you can afford to.
