        An ICON.  It's been here since I was a kid.. I'm 53 now. One last stop before we got to the river. Ice? Drinks? Lunch?  They have a lot more now than when I was a kid.  I can't pass by without remembering old feelings of hot days and ice cream

        I was staying at a camp nearby while helping to fight the Rum Creek Fire. During the first three weeks, we visited Lil' Pantry a half a dozen times, and each experience was great. They have surprisingly good pre-made and fresh food, their coffee is better than fire camp coffee (though pretty bad compared to real coffee), and the people working there were all polite to me. The final week I was in town, camp was closed down and I was looking for somewhere to park my truck during the days. I asked a manager and she unhesitantly gave me permission to park in the employee area. I'll definitely visit here again when I'm passing through town.
