Redfish

Utterly mediocre dining. The food didn't taste fresh. Pasta with clam sauce was pasty. Rock fish had a strange texture, as though improperly defrosted. This is the kind of place where you say, when it's over - "I should have eaten at home - it would have been much better and how much money we would have saved."

#1 Riley was awesome. Punctual service and very helpful recommending stuff to check out in the area The food...amazing. my sirloin was better than the filet I had three days ago in Coos Bay. The whole experience was awesome. Highly recommend.

This place has never failed to impress. A generally laid back atmosphere (although busy for how sleepy Port Orford appears) with a beautiful view of Battle Rock is complemented by the likes of it wait staff (Riley in this case). Redfish happens to encompass a local as possible mission statement be it true or not. Almost all the meats and cheeses are from the southern Oregon or northern California coasts and it reflects in the quality of the food.
