One week before the extended deadline she told me I could look around for another CPA as she didn't do rush jobs (she had everything she needed 1 month before the deadline). She left me scrambling and quit responding to emails.
She failed to stay up to date on the latest tax issues, especially in regards to covid changes. When I suggested she made a mistake, she double downed and insisted she was correct (I later found another CPA, who said she was incorrect). This mistake was thousands of dollars. Not only does she not know what she is doing, even when she is shown her mistake she can't figure out how to do something correctly.
I would have had no problem paying her fee, but when I DID look around, I found another CPA for about half of what she was charging.
