ATRIO Health Plans

My mother (senior citizen) changed from Prominence Health Insurance to Atrio and it was a HUGE mistake. We have been waiting for Atrio to authorize necessary tests due to her cancer and they are taking their time at my mother's expense. We didn't have this problem with her former health insurance and will be switching back as soon as possible. I will definitely warn others not to use Atrio, particularly senior citizens who are in the most need.

I was wanting to talk to the sales department as I am about to enroll in medicare. Every time I called the connections dropped. After 3 attempts and talking to main number I tried to tell them sales depart. does not answer so she just put me through again, which again dropped after about a 2 minute wait. On the 4th call I asked for a manager and was put on hold for so long I decided to just let the world know they do not seem eager to sign up more people. A very bad first impression, I will be going elsewhere

Sad Day, I have called ATRIO St. Mary's Medicare plan so many times, only to find out Women's health care is not covered under their plan. NO gynecologist in the Reno Area and NO urogynecology at all anywhere in there plan. Since I have a prolapsed uterus, I can not have health care coverage for that in or out of network, as other Dr.s will not take Atrio, that is how out of net work, works. I asked, what I should do, to only be told, you have to pay out of pocket.
