They have me the best price in Salem for Quartz countertops. I had bid it out with several companies, including Keystone, but Custom Countertops gave me the lowest price for the highest quality. They used a laser 3D modeling tool to be pinpoint accurate with my existing cabinets. They did an excellent job installing. They even did a great job concealing the seams where the different slabs met. I learned they are a local family company while they were installing. That made me like them even more. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

My wife and I had done business with Custom Countertops years ago during a remodel on our home. We had picked out Corian countertops and stainless steel undersinks. Time marched on, and all of a sudden our main kitchen sink started falling away from the countertop. We went to talk to Dan (owner) @Custom Countertops and he told us they no longer install sinks like they used to. . he showed us how they do the installation now. We were impressed! He sent his son and a helper to our house to reinstall our sink the "new" way..they were very professional, courteous, and positive about the new install. We are customers at a large membership-only warehouse store (let's call it Csco) with a location in Wilsonville. My wife and I were looking to have countertops put in our house so we started the process through their list of services. Well, the company that Csco contracts with was a really poor choice. I won't go into too much detail but we got our first bid from them and it was a fiasco (PRICE?!?). Since I live closer to Salem, I contacted Salem Custom Countertops and talked with Julie to setup a time to come by their showroom to look at samples. She setup a time on a Saturday (normally closed) to have me meet with Dan (the owner) to go over their different products. Well, we were on a pretty tight budget, but Dan was really helpful and went the extra mile to help us find a solid surface that we liked and fit our budget. Dan even was able to include a backsplash at no extra cost and also a 16ga undermount sink for an awesome price! NOTE: SCC does not charge to cut a hole for your sink, unlike many other companies. He then came out to do the measurements (by laser) and got everything dialed in. Our countertops are on order right now, and I will finish the review at that time. All in all, a great experience thus far. Highly recommended! UPDATE:So, the countertops are all completed and installed. The material is beautiful! Even better than the sample seeing it in a big slab. The installation went very smoothly, and the whole crew were good guys. They tented the entire kitchen area to reduce the amount of dust that comes from the installation of solid surface countertops. COOL: In our kitchen there was a cutting board that was missing from day one when we moved in. Because of this, there was a big gap where the board used to go. I asked if they had a piece of wood that they could install to cover up the gaping hole in the cabinet. They found one in their spare materials and got that installed. They did this at no extra charge which I thought was very nice. Now our countertops AND cabinets look complete. To be fair, I did have their lead installer come back after installation and correct a small issue with missing glue on a corner of the countertop. He got it corrected without a problem and they (the countertops) have been great ever since (about 3-4 months now). I still highly recommend this company, not just because of their excellent pricing, but because of everything from the friendliness of their office staff, crew and owner to how they back up their products. Even more importantly, I felt comfortable with the process from start to finish. Thanks again!

From estimate to installation, they were great! They contacted me quickly with an estimate. Within the week they came to my home and measured the kitchen using a laser system that ensured accurate measuring - that was really cool to watch. I think it was actually the owner that came out to my house. They installed my quartz countertops at my convenience and the installers were nice and professional. The installation took about 5 hours. The countertop seams were put together great and the installers were entertaining during the hours we had to wait. I think they sell granite, corian, and quartz countertops. Their prices were better than all the estimates that we received from around Salem. I also like that they are locally-owned company with wonderful service, quality and prices.
