Talent Dental: Mehdi Ghavam, D.M.D.

Rather unfortunate...however I have to give this review. The billing clerk at this facility failed to determine a pre authorization for a replacement crown. Replacement crowns are usually covered by insurance as long as they fall outside their life expectancy. This replacement was 45 days away from being covered. Then when I asked for a return phone call from Dr. Ghavam to discuss the failure to get the pre authorization, he wouldn't have the decency to call me back. So unprofessional in many ways.

As the song goes, "Who could ask for anything more?" The staff is very pleasant, welcoming, and upbeat and the doctor ...? I've had many complicated dental procedures over a long life, many by Dr. Ghavam. Coming admittedly from someone with only a rudimentary knowledge of dentistry his counsel and skill are both impeccable.

Excellent care all around. Dental work is stellar and staff is always friendly and efficient. Without a doubt the best dental group I've had the pleasure of working with!

If I could give Doctor Ghavam and his office crew higher marks I would.   They operate from a lovely renovated house in downtown Talent. The minute you walk in the door you are greeted  by name with a smile and told to relax, that the doctor will be right with you.  And he always is.  Who, I ask, likes going to the dentist, not me!!  A lot due to childhood experiences.  Dr. Ghavam is not only personable but extremely professional.  He does a great job remembering details about me and then proceeds to explain every aspect of the dentistry he will be performing during the appointment and on top of that is extremely gentle.  I seriously almost feel like family.  It's without hesitation I recommend Talent Dental.  I feel so lucky to have them on my side as a community and  when it comes to dentistry.
