I wanted to come here sometime last year but they had been snowed in and the roads were somewhat inaccessible. So I came here on the 19th of February to celebrate my birthday with my partner and a few friends. Nicola was such a fantastic host, I really enjoyed the informative talk about wolves in general and their impact on rivers, conservation, and their rightful place in our wild places. The wolves themselves were very well cared for speaking as a veterinary professional, I was pleasantly surprised at how they were housed and cared for.

Our tour guide, Nicola, was very knowledgeable and friendly, and it was clear she cares deeply for the wolves and is devoted to them and the organization. The animals seemed extremely well-cared for. I really liked hearing about wolves in general and the history of wolves in Oregon and the region. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience to get to see these animals up close in such an intimate setting. They do have a small gift shop and we were able to get within a few feet of the wolves, but interaction (touching/petting) is not allowed per Oregon Fish & Wildlife Dept. regulations.
