My first realtor was absolutely awful and as a result we had the home on the market for over 3 months. I eventually switched over to Portland creative realtors and I'm sad I've since moved out of state because they are such a treasure in the real estate world. Not only are the affordable, but they communicate well and keep you up to date, have recommendations on what to do to sell your house optimally, and live right in town. Theyre a family business! Highly recommend them with selling your home. Keep up the great work!!

I recently worked with Wendy and purchased a home in the Beaverton area. It was a very challenging time to buy a home but Wendy was awesome and helped me search the entire Portland and Beaverton area for a home. I chose Portland Creative Realtors because they seemed to offer a more personalized approach and I was not disappointed. Highly recommend!!

We worked with Wendy to both buy and sell, and it was a great experience. She kept us grounded despite the crazy market conditions, and was a really strong negotiator, able to help us get what we wanted without alienating the other party. She kept calm and positive no matter what and did a good job of helping us think through the decisions and options we had throughout the process. We always felt she was defending our interests and advocating for us. We would absolutely work with her again and recommend her to others.

I would recommend Helen to anyone who wants to successfully purchase a house in the Portland metro area. Helen is very professional and patient with us during the whole buying process. Because we just moved here and we didn't know anything about the neighborhood, Helen would tell us about the neighborhood where the house we looked at and make sure that it's something we want for our family. Helen listens to us well and really makes a lot of effort in not just finding the right house for us but also helping us having our offers accepted! She definitely made our first time house purchasing much easier with her experience and knowledge. What I really love about her is that we never feel like being pushed and she wanted us to have a house that we LOVE! There's never a time that a question is not being answered! We would love to work with her again in the future!

Im taking the time to write this review as we just completed a transaction with Helen Hoyt. She was not our agent, but was representing the sellers. One word to describe the entire transaction, WHIPLASH. We have bought and sold several homes but this was quite honestly the most terrible experience we have ever had and I hadnt even spoken to her. First off, she came back to us as buyers 4 times! Yes, 4 times! There were two other offers that went into contract and backed out within 24 hours. When the 2nd offer backed out she verbally accepted our offer and even had the sellers sign but never sent us the documents. We were elated to hear they were accepting our offer and then crickets. We didnt hear for almost a full day. Its fine if the owners were still exploring offers and say well get back to you, but to blatantly say youre accepting and then not follow thru is well, in my opinion unprofessional. The next two times, were just not having the respect to respond to our timelines and still holding out for higher offers. The listing originally started at 625K, then changed 650K, and finally landed at 678K, all changed within days of us trying to get into contract. With so many price changes, just tells me it wasnt properly priced to begin with and tried to get it closer to our offer. The next issues we experienced was calling our agent and relentlessly asking if were going to back out. Practically every day throughout inspection and loan approval. There was mold found in the attic and of course as a prudent buyer we got an expert in to evaluate the issue. When the mold was found, Helen kept bugging our realtor to see if we would back out. We knew there was another buyer in back up and were willing to offer more and could feel that Helen was just hoping for us to back out to get a higher price. She was already talking to the backup buyer before we could even finish our inspection period. Never mind we shortened our inspection period to just 5 days. Felt like she had her eye on the higher offer the entire time. When we finally closed on the house, she didnt even bother to flip the listing to sold. It took 2 weeks for her to flip the listing to sold on RMLS. Two weeks! Finally, to boot, we did offer rent backand put in the contract to be notify immediately when vacated. She avoided our realtors calls and texts until it was escalated to her principal broker. Pretty sure the house was vacated earlier than when we got the keys. I felt like this was supposed to be a joyous celebration, since we were looking for months and felt like her attitude towards us created much more stress than needed. There was much more we experienced but would take too long to write. This review is solely my experience with her and my opinions. If I see her name on a listing again, i'm running for the hills. Update: I see Helen responded to my review and she is lying we offered 690 with us offering an appraisal gap initially not the 650 she claims. Disclosing financial details of the transaction is uncalled for. Our offer was on the table even when the others backed out, our timelines were just never respected. And again verbally accepted our offer with sellers signing just was never sent to us. We offered way above initially listing of 625.

Business Response on Google Feb 10th, 2022
You are right, I was not your agent. I did not represent you at all. The reason we didn't accept your offer is because your offer was quite a bit below the other offers we got. We got several offers over $700000 multiple times. If you would have offered $700000 we would have taken your offer at the beginning. I told your agent we had offers over $700000, and that if you really wanted it you needed to raise your offer. You did not raise your price even though you had the chance! . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .For a longer explanation and what the facts really are: I was representing my seller, not you. You are right, it was a whiplash. We listed it at $625000, which is where the comps had put it, we had multiple offers up to $710000. We took the offer for $710000. They backed out for no reason. . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .We put it back on the market, and got multiple offers again, up to $710000 again. You again offered really low! We took the $700000 offer because they seemed like they loved the house and it was a good offer.. Then they backed out. . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Since all our offers were over $700000 we relisted it at $650000. The sellers were heartbroken that 2 buyers had backed out, but this was the age of super multiple offers, when people were flinging out high offers and then backing out. You guys offered $690000- we got another offer at $700000, but since you were still wanting it, and had hung in there, we believed you really loved the huse and would go on to close. So we accepted your offer. You did go on to close!. . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .I'm really sorry you feel angry. My job is to get the best offer for my seller, which is what I tried to do. I am not representing you at all! If you really wanted the house, you knew that we had offers over $700000, and you should have offered higher in the beginning. But you offered $650000. If I would have taken your offer, I would have been doing my seller a disservice. Apparently your realtor did not explain to you how the agency works in Oregon, that I am only representing the seller, and not you.. . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .I did not represent you but represented the seller! I only have 2 bad reviews on google, and both are from buyers who are angry at me for doing my best to represent my seller! That is my job! And just for the record, I got my sellers the house of their dreams, we won against multiple offers. Because I counseled them how to write a winning offer and they were willing to do it.When I am representing a client, I give it my heart and soul! That is what makes me a good realtor!
