Jo was wonderful to work with and such an asset in assisting my daughter in her college transfer. She helped my daughter find direction by guiding her through possible college majors and university choices that would be a good fit for her, as well as with the logistics of the application process. Jo is very knowledgeable and experienced and we are very grateful for the assistance she provided us!

Jo was a huge help in my first major career transition. She helped me strategize a plan to identify target companies and positions, while developing attainable goals to move the process forward. Her industry experience is evident, and her network is well developed as she was able to connect me with various industry professionals. Jo is a great resource if you are looking to make a career transition, are unsure where you see yourself going forward. Thanks so much Jo!

I find it very difficult to put into words, all the wonder that is Jo Leonard. I was transitioning out of a job and was seeking some guidance on where and what I should do next. Before meeting Jo I thought, ok I’m going to meet with a career counselor, she is going to hand me a quiz to take, that she would then analyze and say, “based upon your results, you should be a ____________!!!!” She didn’t do that, because you know what? In no way, shape, or form does that exist!! Figuring out what one wants to do career or otherwise in life is a process. It’s about figuring out who you are as a person, determining your strengths and weaknesses, your likes and dislikes, things that you feel passionate about, putting you out of your comfort zone to explore new opportunities, and so much more. Jo helped me to explore all of these things, but she did so in a way that was uniquely specific to me. During our time together she got to know me as the individual that I was, and she had the incredible ability to intuitively see certain qualities that I possessed in myself that I wouldn’t have recognized had she not brought them to my attention. Even when she encouraged me to explore certain things that were a bit out of my comfort zone, she always somehow found a way to make it that I didn’t feel that way, whether it was allowing me to be a participant in an organization that she works with, or just by introducing herself and would then introduce me to a random person that we happened to stumbled upon. It’s like she could sense when I was feeling confident and let me do my own thing, or if I needed a little bit of back up, she was there (she was either physically there, or she was available for me to contact her.) I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the that she beyond helped me with my resume and was always constantly coaching me on how to properly convey MY message to professionals. Mainly, she understood me. I believe that no matter the situation one is in, high school, college, looking for a new career, never had a job before, post retirement, someone just needing some guidance… Jo Leonard will never judge you, she will only see you for who you truly are, and will probably see something in you that no one else does!

Jo can absolutely bring the best out of you. She is very knowledgeable in regards to what recruiters and hiring managers are looking for and has her finger on the pulse of many different industries. Jo’s best quality, however, relates to how she can use information you’d think is irrelevant to enhance your brand and make you feel much better about yourself. She motivates, inspires and boosts morale to the point that your confidence in yourself is your strongest attribute in your job search!
