My daughter has been attending COA for almost five years now and we love it! She loves going to school every day and is now in kindergarten and thriving! We love all the teachers and Miss Sharmilla goes over and beyond to make things fun and special for the kids!

I been the Preschool one teacher for COA for almost a year now, we’ll it will be a year in April. I absolutely love what I do and the big difference that myself and the other teachers make in the kids lives that we teach everyday. We are a family at COA and help each other out as much as we can. Sharmilla goes over and beyond to help her families and staff out. Things at COA gets crazy up front sometimes because Sharmilla is trying to make our school nothing, but the best. Sharmilla puts a lot of long hours and hard work into our school to make it what it is. Yes, she would love to be in our classrooms to help out more, but that is not always possible. I couldn’t imagine myself working for anyone else. I’m also working on getting my CDA through work thanks for Sharmilla for getting me started and making it possible for me to better my career. I’m also a mother and going to have my own daughter come to the school when she is 3 to get her ready for school.

When I was working here I brought my son because I had half off for daycare so I was like why not after a few months of working there I noticed the staff was only nice when parents were around or the head director. I ended up having to leave the facility with my son because I was not agreeing with the things they did. It went against my morals. I would highly recommend going to a different daycare, they are very good at pretending to care. But when doors are closed they are mean and are constantly yelling at the kids, The way they pull them out of the room is not OK. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because I did work there and I enjoyed working there, but once I really started to see how it was I decided to leave. Now from staff standpoint – they do not train you properly, and the director has a big attitude when you have to constantly ask questions. I asked to be trained weekly but I was always told another time. I worked there for seven months and I never once got trained. I had to learn everything for myself, and if I had questions after a while they started to be rude. I did make a call to HR to tell them about this and they said that they will be looking into it. I was very upset to leave. because lovedd where I was working with and I felt as if this was a good facility, but that changed and I unfortunately had to make a decision to leave.

I worked at COA for 8 months and it was by far the best experience of my life. While I had to leave for reasons that are a more personal manner, I have nothing but good things to say about the group of people I worked with and the children I got to teach everyday. Every single teacher in that building cares beyond belief about you and your child. They want nothing but the best for your you and your child’s development. They are the most incredible group of people to work with and made stressful days easier. It’s a high intensity job but every person there was able to help you keep that smile on your face and pep in your step. Sharmilla has worked hard to get that place to where it is, she has a way of getting through to kids who are struggling with their first days and adjusting and helping a child who is simply having a bad day. It is in no way an easy job, not a job many people dedicate their life’s work too or can handle spending their days with that many kids at such age groups. It takes truly special people to do what they do each day! Not everything is going to be perfect at every moment and we all have our moments and room for growth as humans. But it’s important to give credit in the moments that matter and remember that every single person who gets to spend the day with your child is going to do their best to give them the best! I love that place and whats it’s taught me about myself and children and people in general! I hope that any parent looking to enroll sees the beauty in the teachers and director and what they have to offer and I hope and prospective employee knows their in for the greatest of rides!
