The Midwifery of Doylestown

I have had a great experience with Joanne as my midwife. I am about 6 weeks from delivering my 3rd baby with the doylestown midwives. My first delivery was very difficult, but I have nothing but good things to say about Joanne and Capri (who is no longer there) who helped deliver my daughter. My son was delivered 2.5 years later by Joanne who was very supportive and relaxed throughout the process. I have had nothing but attentive care throughout all of my pregnancies. Joanne is supportive if you decide on natural childbirth or if you would prefer to get an epidural. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is caring and calm in the delivery room. Joanna, the nurse practitioner who I see sometimes for prenatal checkups is also very sweet and kind and an excellent NP.

I want to thank everyone at the office for the amazing support and understanding with my desire of wanting a VBAC. It was such a wonderful experience in Doylestown Hospital and the support of the staff as well. I want to thank Joanne especially because without her I couldnt have done it. Our beautiful baby girl is happy and healthy. Thank you!! You are an amazing person and great at what you do.

JoAnne used fear to coerce my sister into an unnecessary cesarean​. Even more sad is that it was before the 24 mark of her water being artificially ruptured. As if having a baby should take less than 20 hours for a first time mom. She was also the surgeon performing the c-section and that is a strong indicator that she's only in it for the money. It felt as if she forced the interventions intentionally to make a quick buck and get home by dinner time. Do not use her, run far away! You have been warned.

I loved my experience here. I switched to the midwife group around 20 weeks pregnant. They were amazing. I loved all the staff! I felt so welcome and cared for. They answered every question and put up with all my crazy and anxiety.Never once did they ever make me feel like I was crazy. I had to have a planned c section and I was really scared. The midwife who helped deliver my little girl was allison and she kept me so calm. When I had to have a shot in my back she hugged me and calmed me down and took me through every part of her birth. I felt more like a friend while there than patient. I have a beautiful and healthy daughter thanks to the midwives.
