Words fail me yet beyond impressed! I live in Delaware County & food places out here are bland, overly priced, insult in the amount of food you paid for, etc. Nonetheless, was craving a cheesesteak & knew it wouldn't come from Delaware County. Luckily I came across Big Joe's in Essington. Read the reviews via Google, Facebook, etc. Figured I would give them try. From the views I assumed they would be crowded, surprisingly around 1pm, I was the only customer. Informed staff the reviews lead me to them. To sum it up, the picture I attached is a gutted out roll (removed inside of bread). This baby was full & STACKED w/meat!!! Not no steak-um steak, real cut up meat. Couldn't finish my 1st half. I now see why people take the time to leave reviews w/this place. From viewing the menu, they also make unparalleled sandwiches besides cheesesteak (Italian chicken steak sandwiches, kielbasa, etc).Must make others aware & gem is in the county! Oh...around 2 till 3, they take a break. However, closes @ 8pm
