Wonderful little Roadside Inn off the beaten path, serving authentic German Food and a Pub Sandwiches. Portions aren't that big, so order some appetizers, and drink a few German Brews. You will be dropping some $$$, so eat slow and enjoy it. Two people, two drinks each, two dinners and strudel, with tip was over $100.

This place has really good German 👍 food. My lady friend and I both had the chicken paprikash with spatulas and red cabbage. My grandmother made excellent chicken paprikash, so I know the good stuff when I find it. Theirs is wonderful. Then we had this Russian desert. I forget what it is called, but it was amazing. Can't wait to go back. The service was excellent just like the food.

I was shopping at Dietrich meat market and was looking for a place to eat that was close by. Stony Run Inn was only three miles away and I decided to give it a try. The building is historic and they have a large parking lot in the back of the restaurant with plenty of spaces. What a great decision to come here. Walked in and the bar was warm and inviting. We were greeted by the friendly hostess and as we walked into the dining area which is lovely with nice seating and tables, it felt like a you were in a restaurant in Germany. Tastefully decorated, and classy. They have a large deck out back with additional tables with shade coverings and since it was a lovely day we decided to dine outdoors. The menu is authentic German Austrian cusine with wonderful appetizers sandwiches entrees and amazing desserts. All authentic and incredible. They have a very nice beer selection and a full bar to choose from. We started with the fritters appetizer which was delicious and wonderful and for the entrees , we ordered the Hunters Favorite and the Chicken Paprikash. The Hunter favorite was incredible. The meat which is the star of the dish was so tender and most important not over cooked like other places and the flavors blended beautifully with the spatzle in a wine sauce with mushrooms and bacon. It was perfect. The chicken paprikash was incredible as well . Tender in a cream sauce full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The presentation of the meals was lovely and the portions are large and filling. They give you home made warm rolls to enjoy as well with your meal which were delicious. We ended the meal with their apple strudel. It came out warm and it was flaky and you can taste the home made apples and cinnamon and it had whipped cream on top. It is to die for. Absolutely the best I have had in a long time and they don't skimp on portions. You get your monies worth. Prices are fair considering the quality, quantity, and the fresh ingredients. Absolutely loved everything here. Well worth a visit to experience a taste of authentic cuisine in a lovey setting. Loved it!!!
