I had Surge come out 2 years ago to replace a portion of a concrete slab and to repoint bricks. While the concrete slab turned out fine, the repointed mortar looked sandy and porous. I should have questioned it at the time, but figured that they knew better than me. Within the first year the mortar was cracking and could easily be chipped away with a finger. This year the mortar has fretted away from the bricks in many areas and is falling out. I'm disappointed that my brickwork situation is now worse than it was 2 years ago when I'd elected to first have it fixed. Service: Repointing
