The teachers here are so warm, engaging, and well organized! We leave every lesson knowing what and how to practice, and my daughter is making great progress.

I took my little one to a toddler class that was run by Meryl. It was not an encouraging class for my 2 year old. The assistant actually laughed at my child when he was not listening that well. It was the first time he was in a group setting. Even though I paid for the whole session I never went back again. I asked for my money back and they refused. I would try it out to see how the class is before you sign up for long term one.

I worked at Flute and Friends for about a year and a half, and would've stayed much longer were it not for the pandemic. It was a fantastic work environment. I felt supported both professionally and personally. Jenni, the owner, is passionate and earnest as an employer and as a teacher. I had the pleasure of working with a broad array of families and a team of teachers that were putting in their best work.

I could not be happier with the incredible dedication, attention, care and thoughtfulness teacher Jenni Janson brings to every lesson. She embodies the very best of Suzuki teaching, and the process really works - my daughter's flute lessons are a high point in her week, every week!

I LOVE this flute program for my 11 year old daughter!! Teachers are warm and nurturing with a positive attitude for kids of all ages. You can tell that they are excited to teach. Sharing that love of music happens at each individual and group lesson. Recitals are always a thrill and the parents in the community are welcoming and supportive. Jenni, the owner, is super responsive and cares for the well-being of my daughter in a holistic way. Jenni worked with me on scheduling and took steps to help me sort the logistics to make it work for everyone. It's rare to see a person handle both administrative duties as well as handling a full teaching schedule with such dedication. Five out of five stars for responsiveness and communication, for location and the most creative use of space, for both teacher quality and program quality, including time of lessons, recital programming, using games and other playing methods to teach notes and techniques.
