Last May, 2013 I made a very substantial donation to Yellow Tag. I asked that a receipt be left when the donation was picked up. It was not. I phoned Yellow Tag requesting the receipt again. They said that they would send it. They did not. I phoned at least five times with the same request with the same results. The last time I called, I was told to phone the driver who does the pick-up. I repeatedly phoned the number that they provided but there was no answering machine and no one ever answered the phone. Finally, in desperation, I wrote a letter outlining the poor service that I had received. Again, there was no response. After making a donation of between $300 to $500 worth of belongings, I deserved at least a receipt. If you want to donate belongings, don't give them to Yellow Tag!
