The rates that Santander quotes for their money market and savings accounts are nothing short of a shell game. Get rates in writing.
I moved all of my liquid accounts from Santander after four months once I realized that the rate they quote is nothing close to what youre actually going to receive. The Relationship Banker(s) are unethical and/or pathetically unknowledgeable. Ive never experienced anything like it with any other bank. I had to actually call another Santander location and speak with a Relationship Banker to get solid information.
