We recently acquired a horse farm with an old artisanal well. The first time we lost our water, Well Works came out on the emergency call when many other companies had turned us down. They gave us an excellent and affordable price for the new equipment that we needed. They are our well service provider from now on. What really struck me the most, was that they personally care about our well being and go above and beyond to help when we really really needed it. When we are ready to dig a new well for our property, they will be my first call. Well Works has been a lifesaver to us.

Last Sunday afternoon, the water in my house suddenly stopped (mid-shower!). After checking for obvious problems like a blown circuit breaker, I called Well Works because they advertised 24/7 service. The answering service promptly got me to Jimmy, one of their technicians, who talked me through a few more tests which unfortunately were all unsuccessful. No real emergency, so he agreed to stop by the first thing the next morning. After running some diagnostic tests on the pressure tank, he decided the problem was probably with the well pump. He and his assistant Mike then used a handy little machine to haul up 170' of hose at the end of which was my pump, corroded in half. No wonder the water stopped suddenly! I was relieved to learn that he had a replacement pump in his truck and he quickly began the installation. He noticed that the electric wire to the pump had been abraded over the years, so I agreed 170' of new wire would also be a good idea. Another big job to remove and replace. When it came to fire up the new pump, the pressure tank wasn't able to hold half the pressure required; it too had failed, and that explained the slow decline in water pressure in the house over the past few months. Fortunately, they also had a new tank in the truck and the parts to install it. Gulp, another major expense. But they wrestled the old tank out and had the new one installed in another hour. This time when we powered up everything worked and I have more water pressure than I have seen in my 8 years in the house. I was given clear directions on how to handle the increased sediment from the well disturbance, and one day later everything is working great. The bill promptly appeared the next day, and although no one welcomes a big unexpected expenditure, I was happy to pay it. Very professional, likable technicians, prompt service, quality equipment. In my view, good value for the money. I plan to have them come back for routine annual inspections to hopefully avoid another disaster in the future. Very happy customer!
