Rocco's and Mia's Little Italy

Friendly staff, owners Rocco and Mai are really awesome people! Pizza is the best on the island. Rocco was telling me he was going to start bringing some live entertainment, cant wait!

Walked in with my family and was immediately told to sit wherever we would like. We quickly selected a table. Over the next 25 minutes we watched 3 parties including a group of 12 walk out without ordering. Shortly thereafter, without even getting water or menus, we left too. The money walking out the door here is astounding. Poorly trained staff is costing this place thousands of dollars.

Sat in the bar area for lunch. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap and the girlfriend had a steak and cheese wrap. The food was not good. My wrap was more wrap than anything. It was soggy poorly wrapped and the fries were dark and soaked in oil like they were sitting in the fry basket waiting for someone to order, and the cook just dropped them again to heat up. We called it a loss and just ordered a slice of pizza to hopefully get a good experience. Wrong. The pizza was cheap, soggy, greasy and bland. Nothing special about it just basic pizza which you could probably get better at the frozen aisle in Walgreens. It looked as if the two Gentlemen behind the bar were owners/managment. A message to the Owners: Do not let the old man who looked to be the cook out in the bar area with apron and gloves on conversating with guests. As a sous chef in New Bedford, I have to say the food was terrible. Not worth my time to go back for a second chance. I dont know why there are such high reviews for this place, those people must not eat out around very often.
