Listen, I don't write a lot of reviews because there aren't too many places with reviewing beyond saying "this is good" or "avoid this". This place is worth the high price tag. Ate there twice, every item from appetizer to dessert and drinks was excellent. The location is fantastic as well in the ground level of the Mannessee, try to have dinner outside on the patio by the fountain, the night lighting is excellent. Great live music as well on one of the nights we went.

Great cuisine. Good cocktails. Nice atmosphere. Superb service. A little pricey, but the value is good. My husband loves oysters and he claims his oysters with a champagne mignonette were some of the best he's ever had. And that's saying a lot. Recommend!

We were thrilled with our dining experience at The Oyster Bar at Hotel Manisses. We used to love coming here for dinner, but stopped when the quality of the food and the ambiance dramatically changed. Now that Kimberly has taken ownership (this year), it’s back to being a MUST for dinner on BI. The food, the staff and the ambiance are top notch. Kimberly does it again with her personal warmth and commitment to quality dining. For apps we chose the Sicilian Little Necks & Sesame Tuna- both were excellent. For entrees we chose 2 specials: Grilled Swordfish with a lemon sauce & lobster mash, and Miso Cod with a coconut curry sauce & sticky rice- they were both delectable. Our server, Tyler (originally from South Africa) was very knowledgeable of the menu, helped us make our food selections and was extremely professional. We were a party of 2, but the party of 12 at the next table seemed to be enjoying their evening as much as we were, and the acoustics were just fine. Thank you Kimberly & Tyler for making the restaurant experience at Hotel Manisses as special as it once was! Can’t wait to see you again soon 👍😘 xoxo🍴
