What a wonderful stay. Service was unbelievable! Kristina was so kind to us. We felt like family. Breakfast was delicious! Wine was delicious! Our snack was sooo appreciated upon arrival bc we sure were hungry after traveling. Sooo many perks to staying here. We also enjoyed staring at the stars on their deck at night. Our room also had a few nautical themed books which I thought was so cute. I decided to read one called the soul of an octopus and OMG it was so good! Brought the book with me to the beaches! Thank you to all at the Barrington for making our stay perfect.

The excellent location, comfortable rooms and lovely hospitality made for a very enjoyable stay. Located halfway between the Old and New Harbors, it was the perfect spot to meet sailing friends on their way into town or to take the launch out to meet them on their boats. Our gracious host, Christine, made certain our stay was perfect with a delicious daily morning breakfast and afternoon cheese plate. The room was well-appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

The Barrington Inn is an easy five star. A carefully curated, lovingly restored historic home sits anchored above the Great Salt Pond with sunrise and sunset vistas. An enchanting garden welcomes guests with calming lavander and sprawling hydrangeas. Breakfast on the porch prepared daily is second to none. The business is run with the highest degree of professionalism and would be my first choice for a wedding party, executive retreat, family reunion or any other important event that should go off flawlessly.
Nearby activities: Beach, restaurant, hiking trails, fishing, biking, Orb Hunting
Walkability: Centrally located, Beach towels chairs and umbrellas provided.

This was our second time staying at the Barrington Inn with Kristina & Stu--they are amazing hosts! As hosts they went above and beyond--when my husband and I had car trouble, they immediately helped...running to the BIG for a key fob battery before they closed!
The Inn is lovely, the rooms are very comfortable, AC was cold, the larger rooms are nice with the daybed & trundle (not that we needed the trundle)...but it's nice to have a place to sit and read besides the bed. Snacks and morning coffee/breakfast were wonderful too! So much to like about the Barrington Inn! We used our own beach chairs but did borrow a beach umbrella (they have chairs, umbrellas and beach towels for guest's use). Location is perfect, just out of town center and close to New Harbor and the town beach.
Can't wait for our next visit!
