AVOID THIS PLACE.
From the moment I stepped foot in the store, the owner's behavior was nothing short of disgraceful. Not only did he display blatant sexism towards a young girl who sought his advice, but he also treated me with utter disrespect.
As I stood in line, I witnessed the owner belittling the girl before me for daring to ask for his expertise in selecting flowers for her boyfriend. Instead of offering helpful suggestions, he responded with sarcasm and condescension, making her feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. It was clear that he had no respect for his customers and their needs.
When it was finally my turn, I explained that I needed a beautifully arranged bouquet for my boyfriend's mother, as it would be our first meeting. However, he haphazardly wrapped the flowers in transparent plastic paper, completely disregarding my request for a proper arrangement. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, he callously replied that he had already done it and refused to make any changes. His dismissive attitude was infuriating.
When the previous girl left, I asked the owner if he was busy that day, he said not busy but annoyed by people asking what he deemed "stupid questions." He even had the audacity to claim that his role was merely to wrap flowers, not to offer advice - since this is not the psychiatry department. Ridiculous.
I left City Garden Flower Shop feeling utterly disheartened and disrespected. I would never recommend this place to anyone, as the owner's rude and unprofessional behavior is truly unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and choose a different florist that actually values their customers and takes pride in their work.

Went in looking for a small bouquet to put in a small yellow vase and Gary was more than happy to help me out and give some great recommendations! He had me go with orange snapdragons and they look absolutely lovely!

I've bought flowers from Gary for well over a decade now, and I've always been pleasantly surprised by how much beauty and positive energy his well-curated selection of flowers can bring to a room.
